Parents and guardians of Decker Prairie Elementary students will experience for the first time the new parent drive around the campus this week.
The new entrance was put in place to help with traffic flow and allow for safer drop off and pick up areas before and after school.
Parents must use the new drive entrance off Decker Prairie-Rosehill Rd on south side east entrance to the back of the school. The driveway will circle around the school enabling parents to form two lines at the stop sign. Keep in mind that when forming the two lines, the right lane must turn right on Decker Prairie-Rosehill Rd. and the left must turn left on Decker Prairie-Rosehill Rd.
The student pick up and drop off zones will be at the end of the circle drive on the north side of the school, right of the front entrance. The drive near the front entrance of the school is now designated for bus drop off and pick up.
Tomball ISD encourages parents to review the map ahead of time and understand to drive slow and pay attention to signs around the drive area.
