HOME Welcome!

My name is Christina Mace and when I was six years old, I knew that I was going to become a teacher. I love teaching children and being instrumental in their learning and watching them succeed.

I am a native Houstonian and live in Cypress with my sweet fur baby, Joy. I am active in my church, an avid traveler and

foodie. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

I am a graduate of East Texas Baptist University where I received a degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching career with an excitement that continues to grow. After many years teaching in various districts across Texas, I am excited to make Decker Prairie Elementary and Tomball ISD my teaching home.

My experience includes teaching Kindergarten through Third Grade, Special Education, Reading Specialist, Reading Intervention and Dyslexia.

My passion as a teacher is to give children a joy for learning that will continue to grow!

I look forward to working together with you and your child as our Adventure Awaits!

Remote Learning Beginning March 23!

On Monday, March 23, we will begin our remote learning activities.  Please take the opportunity to access the site (below) sometime this weekend and to review the resources that are available.  Students in Grades 1-12 will access their new classrooms through Google Classroom.  Directions for access are located in the Parent/Student Academic Remote Learning Resources on the Remote Learning site.

Hi, from Ms. Mace

Dear Families,
How are you? I miss you!
As you know school is closed until April 10.  I sent out an email to all parents, if you did not receive it, please email me so that we can make sure I have your correct email address.
Thank you,
Ms. Mace
