Hi families! I'm SO excited to be your child's teacher. We are going to have a spectacular year!
A little bit about myself - I am a first year teacher, but I have known that I wanted to teach kindergarten since my junior year of high school! I went to Houston Baptist University (dawgs up!) to obtain my Bachelors in Elementary Education (Fall 2020) and my Masters in Reading (Spring 2022)! I have a 9 year old dog named Clara that I love oh so much! I'm originally from the Dallas area, so I'm grateful for any time I get to see my family who still lives up in north Texas!
In addition to academic learning, we will focus on being good citizens in the classroom and beyond. We will learn through lots of play, hands-on activities, songs, and movement. I look forward to helping your child learn, grow, and succeed this year!
I believe that parent/teacher communication is essential for a successful year. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
