The school bus is in town and ready to bring boys and girls to kindergarten!  I am so excited for the 2017-2018 school year to begin and to welcome each one of you to Decker Prairie Elementary.

My name is Kay Franklin and I will be your child's teacher this year. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement.  I have taught kindergarten in Tomball ISD for 18 years.  My family includes my wonderful husband, Bill, and our two sons.  I enjoy the beach, going to the hill country, and I love, love, LOVE shopping trips.  I can't wait to meet and learn all about my new students and their families.
